Due to various reasons, I haven’t been able to get out and go somewhere with Melanie for my day off for the past two or three weeks. We had discussed going to Glen Forest Park, and that’s where we went.
It’s about 25km outside Port Lincoln and features all sorts of farm animals and animals indigenous to Australia. It doesn’t have the variety of a large zoo, but one of the benefits of a smaller setting is that you get closer to the animals, many of which you’re allowed to handle and touch.
It was A$10 each (about £4) and I thought it was well worth it. If any of you come and visit us, I’ll take you there.
