Well I didn’t exactly plan this, but it has worked out this way. At the same time I’m writing to let you know we’ve hit the 1000 comments mark, I’m also writing post number 200.
This post is just to say a big thank you to everyone who supports this blog. Having a ’successful’ blog, largely depends on what you’re writing about, and ‘amazingly’, most people in the world are not interested in reading my ramblings…I know, I’m as surprised as you are!
Seriously though…if I wasn’t writing this blog, I wonder if I’d read it myself, so it is encouraging to know that many of you keep coming back. We’ve been going for over 8 months now, and most bloggers cave in long before that, and to be honest, I’ve been close to packing it in myself along the way. Believe it or not, it’s usually by redesigning the site I get the extra enthusiasm to post…I dunno why that is, but there you go.
Trying to think about what my readers would like to read is difficult sometimes. I mean, if I have a cool photograph or something, then it’s relatively straightforward. But sometimes I think, ‘how could I help my readers?‘ That was the motivation behind my post about ClearType, but I have no idea if it helped any of you or not.
Anyway, getting back to the ranch…I just want to thank you all for reading, commenting, and supporting. Your comments and suggestions are fuel for the fire, and they’re greatly appreciated.
I also want to thank the person behind the 1000th comment - superbusy (she’s got to be with seven kids), Christian, homeschooling mom, Amber!

Good on you mate! Keep it up!
I reckon the longer I do it, the more I’m concluding that blogging is a good slave and a bad master. I’m encouraged by your desire to blog and pray that other men in Australia will follow in your steps.
Grace to you.

Rodney - Thank you for such encouraging words. I don’t know how you’ve been so steady for so long. I mean, you’re site is almost four years old. That’s ancient in web years
Jason - Thanks bro. Do you know of any other Aussie blogging preachers?

Not really. However, there are several pastors who will be writing regularly for InFocus (www.givemetruth.net/infocus) when we kick back into gear starting next Monday.

LOL! Who woulda thunk! Congrats on your 1000 comment and 200 posts…btw, I’m told you are supposed to blog 200 things about yourself on you 200th post.
I hope you continue to bless people with your future posts.
God Bless,
Amber

Congrats Armen - that’s a tremendous posts to comments ratio as well!

Jason - Look forward to that.
Amber - I’m sure you’re weren’t expecting that. I was waiting for the next comment patiently so that I could write this post.
Nath - It’s not bad. It has dropped off a little over the past few months, but it’s still pretty consistant. As a blogger, you’ll know how much each comment is appreciated.

I sure do Armen! I find it a difficult balance sometimes to maintain a blog, keep track of the comments on my own blog, and also remember to make meaningful comments on my fellow bloggers’ blogs as well…that’s also another reason why I appreciate it so much when I receive comments from other bloggers.
Congrats again!
Haven't you got anything to say?
