Fun With Brecca

Knowing how you all love videos, and most of you love Brecca, here are the two together; a video with Brecca. I’m no expert at putting together videos, but this time I tried something different. I took two takes, doing the same thing, but on each take, the camera was at a different angle. It turned out quite well I think.

She’s getting better at various commands, but she still has a lot to learn.

It looks like you are doing a great job with the training Armen and Melanie. What about that throw Melanie you are so cruel.

This has nothing to do with Brecca but Melanie would you mind cooking me an apple crumble…. hint! hint! or even a chocolate fudge cake…. yum! yum! for my birthday. Am I making you hungry Armen? By the way my birthday is on the 9th of August.

Andrew - I don’t think the throw was so much cruel, as it was pathetic.

As for the apple crumble…we’ll see what happens. I know I’d be advocating it, not only for your benefit but also for mine, in the hope that I might get a piece too! ;)

Joanna - Hey stranger! I actually thought Brecca wasn’t getting it either. Over a couple of days, I was grabbing her leg and saying “Paw” over and over again. Then after a little while, she just did it. Then it took a couple of sessions, and she learned “other paw”. Roll over is one of the next on the list.

The key? Patient persistence. Some days they just don’t want to listen, so you have to take advantage of the times when they are keen.

Joanna - Well, like I said, it’s the middle of winter, so it does get chilly at night sometimes, but most of the time it’s fairly mild. The summer is hot though, and now and again unpleasently so!

I think both my piano playing, AND my throwing technique need to be improved!

Haven't you got anything to say?
