A Taste of Home

Everyone loves a surprise. Well…usually!

A few weeks ago we got a knock on the door by our postman, with a box we had to sign for. Of course, both Mel and I looked at it for a few seconds wondering what on earth it could be.

Ripping it open, we discovered the following…

As much as we enjoy Australia, there are just some things it doesn’t offer. One is Tayto, and the other is decent chocolate. Being a chocolate lover, and a believer that Tayto Cheese and Onion are the best crisps in the world, this is not good.

However, much to our delight, Mel’s Grandmother sent us some goodies.

A few weeks on, and we’re still enjoying all of them, except for the Mars’, they’re all gone :)

I LOVE Tayto…but these seem to taste 100% times better than normal! We’ve been trying to make them last as long as possible!!

Hmmm… I’m partial to the odd bag of tayto cheese and onion myself! Have to agree that they’re the best crisps in the world! Although Walkers Sensations Chilli flavour runs them close!

Yeah, but the Walkers Sensations Chilli flavour couldn’t be classified as ‘classic’ yet. Tayto have survived serious crisp (potato chips for the Americans) wars. Although it was more a war between Golden Wonder and Walkers.

Davison’s and McNougher’s HELLO!!! Was very nice to read your comment. Well, to answer your question about spare beds…we have 2 spare rooms, and there’s always the really comfortable living room chairs, and the floor, so yes we could take quite a few visitors here!!! Feel free to book your flights! :-)
Armen is in Tasmania at the moment, so it is also quiet around here without him!! I can understand what you mean about the prayer meeting!!!

Really nice to hear from all of you! Take care!

Mervyn (and family) - I’m glad you found the site. I miss the prayer times too, and the fellowship.

As Melanie said, there is quite a bit of room over here, so visitors are always welcome to come and stay :)
    God bless you all!

Haven't you got anything to say?
