Theme Change

I promise I’m not doing this deliberately, but I just had to. As much as the first theme needed changed, the last theme was - to be quite frank - dreary and bleak! It did not represent me at all.

Now at this point some of you are thinking, ‘well you’re a Christian, you’re not supposed to represent you, you are to represent Christ’, and I totally agree, and that’s why I got rid of the crazy image of blue hair, etc, for fear of misrepresenting in a way that would dishonour my Saviour.

However, the last theme did not reflect my character at all. I am not dull or dreary, but cheerful and happy! So it was out with the pastel, subdued colours and style, and in with a bold, bright, and sharp look.

God made the colours, and a lot of what He used in the creation around us is bold. A bold blue sky, bright green grass and foliage, almost psychedelic coloured aquatic creatures, etc, etc.

So…what do you think? Would you agree? What do you like/dislike?

I don’t plan on changing the theme every month. However, my knowledge of Photoshop and WordPress theme editing is increasing bit by bit, and sometimes it’s hard to resist the temptation to experiment.

    I like it I think!

    And although the pic with the blue hair wasn’t flattering to your appearance ;), there was not one thing wrong with it…it showed your fun side which is nothing but GOOD!

    Joanna - I was actually wondering about you recently Jo. You haven’t commented on here in ages, I was thinking I maybe offended you in some way or something :)
    Melanie - “Copied from yours? You mean the work I did and allowed you to use? ;) I think it’s different enough, and one of the good things is that there isn’t too much about the theme that makes it distinguishable so you’d know it was the same.

    I really like this theme, it is so much easier to read as well. (Old age you know!!) So keep it like this for a while. Like the bright colours, and so much more like you Armen, your nice cheerful personality. Hows the dog getting on?

    June - Welcome! (even though I know you’re a regular reader).

    I think it’ll be like this for a good while, and any changes will be subtle.

    The dog is keeping well too thanks, I’ll have to get some photos up soon.
