A Call For Support

If you’re any way into blogging, WordPress, or…hmmm (bound to be something else to put in here, but I can’t think of what it may be), then you’ll have heard of Brian Gardner. If not, then just read on.

I have never met Brian, nor do I know him. However, I like him, and appreciate his work. No doubt he does lots of things, but what he is well known for, is his great web design abilities and really slick WordPress themes.

His blog ranks in the Top 100, which is no mean achievement. But best of all, Brian is a Christian!

To get to the point, this post is a pitch to call for support for Brian. He is planning on walking 60 miles in support of Breast Cancer and he must raise $2,200 before he can do it.

He says,

“I don’t walk to get recognition. I don’t walk because I want people to think of me a hero. I walk so that a little girl can grow up and spend time with her mother. I walk so that a mother can watch her daughter walk down the aisle at her wedding. I walk so that I don’t have to console another friend while a part of her life was taken too soon. I walk because I am physically able to, while others are not. I walk because I have been given so much, and I want to give back as much as I can.

I walk, because I cannot walk away…”

Now remember my post a month ago, “Wealth - Our Duty To God“, well now is your chance to help in a practical way.

Go here to find out how.

God bless you Brian!

P.S. He never asked me to do this.

    That quote is wonderful.

Haven't you got anything to say?
