An update on the week so far

Nothing out of the ordinary to report on the week. We had four children at the Lock Bible Club for the kids. Two of the girls that were there last week had some other meeting on and couldn’t come, so we would appreciate if some of you were able to remember it before the Lord. In fact, even now as you sit there reading this, pause and take a few moments to pray. Ask God to create and interest and bring the children in.

I received a phone call this week from a representative of TBS (Trinitarian Bible Society) who will be coming this direction and asked if we’d like him to speak. So he’ll be preaching at Lock this coming Tuesday, and Port Lincoln on Wednesday.

As I write this it is still Thursday in the UK, but it’s Friday morning here and the Awana children’s work is on this evening. However, the weather forecast gives it to be 38°C today and we don’t go ahead with it if it has been over 35°C because the hall gets too hot, so unless there is a cool change there will be no Awana this week. I’ll let you know of the outcome.

It’s really hard to believe two months have passed since we left Northern Ireland.
