A quick update

Just a quick update of a few things that have happened over the past few days.

1) You’ll recall that the first two weeks of the children’s meeting at Lock had only two children in attendance. Well on Tuesday afternoon there were seven in attendance. This was a real encouragement to us all. Join with us as we continue to pray for an increase in the meetings.

2) Our dear brother Noel Shields has been with us for this week. He has been In Tazmania for the last three Sundays, giving a much needed break for the Rev. Mark Peden. However, because Noel ministered in Lock in 1991-93, he took the time to pay a visit to the works in South Australia. Along with everyone else, I was very happy to see him and let him minister the Word of God to the congregations at each mid-week service. It’s nice sometimes to be able to just sit in the pew :)

3) Part 6 of the series in 1 John is now available for download.

4) You may remember that I promised to try and lower the size of the sermons files. Well I have done that today. Each sermon should now be around 4mb, rather than 14mb. If you’re on broadband it should only take 1 or 2 minutes to download a messge now. If you’re on dial-up then it could take around 20-30 minutes, but I’m not 100% sure.

5) Could you please let me know if any of you are having problems leaving comments? Occasionally I get an error message when I try to reply to comments, and I have to refresh the page before it works :(
I’ve contacted the theme designer about it, but he hasn’t got back to me. I have also noticed that only the first eight categories in the drop down menu at the top of the page are working. Is this the same for you? Let me know.

If I can’t iron these issues out, then a new theme will be on the cards, and I don’t really want to have to do that.

    Sometimes I can get the drop down menu workin and sometimes not.

    Noel Shields is lovely, tell him I said ‘hi’ pleeease!! I had some crack one night a while back with him and Rev Goodes. They’re both some crack. Anytime I visit Gary Goodes house its a hoot!

    Eeerrrmmm…..is Noel Shields the man with bld head who came back over to NI recently?? Just IN CASE I’ve wrong man?!!?
